Next Saturday, 26th of September, within the framework of the 6th edition of the Stockholm Latin American Film Festival - Panoramica, three Argentine films directed by female filmmakers will be presented and the webinar "Argentine feminist billboard" will be held on the screenings of these films.

These cultural activities are sponsored by the Embassy of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of Sweden and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, in order to promote our cinema abroad, particularly highlighting its focus on gender issues and giving visibility to the prolific production of the cinematographic directors of the country.

The feature films "La Botara" by Sabrina Blanco, "Malamadre" by Amparo González Aguilar and "The Sleepwalkers " by Paula Hernández, will deal with different themes such as motherhood, family relationships, sexual awakening and the complexities of the environment, among others.

The webinar "Argentine feminist billboard" will feature the participation of three Argentine filmmakers who are part of the collective that, at the beginning of 2020, launched a virtual flyer proposing a common communication strategy to promote feminist cinema. They will talk about their work, the distribution strategy they have created and the results they have achieved after almost a year of collective work.

All the activities mentioned above will take place at Zita -Folkets Bio cinema, Birger Jarlsgatan 37, on September 26 from 12:00.
