REGRESAR

Remembering Alejandro Sokol

We received the visit from Marcelo Fiori and his wife Patricia, who donated to this Embassy a beautiful replica of the statue of the remembered musician Alejandro Sokol, who lived in Hurlingham, Province of Buenos Aires, until his death, on January 12, 2009.

Alejandro Javier Sokol was an Argentine rock musician, vocalist and composer who was a member of the emblematic bands Sumo and Las Pelotas, and is recognized as a great talent in our national rock.

Along with the replica of the statue (its original is located at the Hurlingham railway station) the Embassy received the book by Rody Rodríguez, “Hurlingham from the beginning” and the film Los Rayos, a rock story in Hurlingham, directed by Nicolas Tacconi.

Thank you for visiting us and sharing with us his initiative.
