Last Friday, 23th of October, the "Contemporary Argentine Literature Workshop" took place at the headquarters of this Embassy, aimed at Swedish editors and translators.
The panel was attended by Andrea Castro, professor from the University of Gothenburg, Virginia Higa, writer and translator and Dr. Azucena Castro from the University of Stockholm, as moderator. All of them Argentine residents in Sweden.
In addition to the tour of the main literary trends in our country, in this activity was also presented Programa Sur, translation support programme to promote and strengthen the publishing of such works in foreign languages.

The event aroused great interest from many professionals in the Swedish publishing industry.
