Today, June 20, is our National Flag Day in honor of the anniversary of the death of General Manuel Belgrano, its creator in 1812.

The light blue and white colors of the flag were inspired by the colors of the sky. There are also those who affirm that it was the mantle of the virgin that led him to that decision.
