The Argentine Embassy to the Kingdom of Sweden is pleased to inform that it has entered into force the Escazú Agreement, which guarantees rights of access to information, public participation and justice in environmental matters.

Argentina is one of the 12 countries ratifying the first environmental treaty in Latin America and the Caribbean.
