People who travel to Argentina for a short-term stay can bring in new or used goods without paying duties or taxes, as long as the goods are meant to be used only by its owner or his/her family group and provided that the amount, nature or variety of the goods does not lead to the assumption that they will be used for commercial or industrial purposes.
As per computers or other electronic devices, it is advisable to carry the invoices or other documents that prove the purchase.
As per medications that are not sold over the counter, it is advisable to carry a doctor's certificate stating that the person must take that medication, with indication of reason and number of doses per day. If the certificate is not written in Spanish or English, a translation into one of these languages is also required.
