Yesterday, 29th of November, the international Christmas trees exhibition was inaugurated and it can be visited for a month for a month at the Sheraton hotel, Tegelbacken 6, Stockholm.

The tree that represents our country is decorated with crafts made by the children of the Swedish-Argentine Community, residents in Stockholm.

The choir of the Embassy interpreted the Argentinean carol "Huachito torito" and the Swedish song "Jul, jul, strålande jul".

Ambassador Nélida María Contreras de Ecker presented the Argentine tree and referred to the activities directed to the Argentine Community in Sweden.

We want to especially thank the collaboration of all the families that participated in the elaboration of the Christmas decorations and the members of the Swedish-Argentine choir directed by Belén Romano.
