Did you know that on November 8, 1903, the Argentine Lieutenant Julián Irízar rescued in an unprecedented feat in Antarctica all the members of the Nordic expedition led by the Swedish explorer Dr. Otto Nordenskjöld?

Today the Ambassador of Argentina in Sweden, Mrs. Nélida Contreras, received the Swedish siblings Karin Osvald and Gustaf Löwenhielm, grandchildren of Dr. Nordenskjöld at the Argentine Embassy in Stockholm where they remembered the Antarctic voyage of their grandfather.
